Rumblings on the horizon. What does it all mean?
The past couple of years have been astoundingly amazing, unsettled, frustrating, spectacular, and creatively stimulating. I have finally landed in a magnificent - and hopefully somewhat permanent! - home, and while most of my free time is taken up with renovations, I should be able to start fleshing out the numerous projects that I've begin over the past few years. The first two projects: an EP of minimal and melancholy tunes with a low-key tech-housy vibe; and a full-length album of electropop tracks that ruminate on the darker side of love. (You can get a sense of the direction this album is taking here, here, and here.)
Once these two projects have been completed, I'll be returning to the Wired Kingdom album and working on a couple of interim EPs.
There may be some opportunities for live gigs and collaborations in the near and not-so-near future. Keeping my mouth shut on these for the time being.
I've closed down the shop on this site and moved my commerce over to Bandcamp. You can buy my digital downloads and merch there and know that all the funds go directly to me and not some assy corporate third party. I'll be adding more stuff as it comes available. I'm thinking of adding some unique, one-of-a-kind stuff that could help me raise funds for the new projects, but we'll see.
I'm so grateful to the people who have been supportive, encouraging, and kind over the past few years. Your unending belief sustains me. Thank you.
So, hopefully some more good news soon.... until then, keep listening and keep grooving...
